Looking back at this week's blood glucose management, there were many days where the overall trend was slightly high, leaving room for improvement. The average blood glucose level was 187 mg/dL, and the Time in Range (TIR) was 47.8%. On the bright side, Sunday was relatively stable, so it was encouraging to see some good periods during the week.
On the other hand, there were times when blood glucose levels rose significantly towards the middle of the week, with a tendency for large fluctuations between daytime and nighttime. Variations in daily meals and activity levels may be affecting these trends. Since my current patterns are now clearly visible in the data, I want to use this as constructive feedback.
Next week, I aim to smooth out sharp fluctuations as much as possible by gradually adjusting my daily routine. I will continue managing my levels comfortably at my own pace, without rushing!

Looking at this week's weekly trend report, the average blood glucose was 187 mg/dL, and the TIR (Time in Range) was 47.8%. The coefficient of variation (CV), which indicates glucose variability, was 31.8%, suggesting relatively large day-to-day fluctuations. Regarding hyperglycemic trends, the highest level of 367 mg/dL was recorded on Monday at 20:30, with temporary spikes prominent in the first half of the week. On the other hand, for hypoglycemia, although the lowest level of 65 mg/dL was recorded on Sunday at 14:30, there was no overall tendency of frequent hypoglycemia, and I am pleased that we managed to stay within the green target range nearly half of the time.
Daily Summary Analysis
Looking at the daily summaries for each day of the week, it is clear that blood glucose trends varied significantly from day to day. Sunday (July 26) was the most stable and favorable day, with the average blood glucose staying at 145 mg/dL. This was likely because I spent a relaxing day off, and the timing of my meals worked out well.
Conversely, Monday (July 27) saw the largest fluctuations, with the average blood glucose rising to 230 mg/dL and a major peak forming towards the night. Wednesday (July 29) was also high, averaging 203 mg/dL. It is suspected that weekday work-related stress, dinner menus, and meal times may have influenced these rises. Because the trends shift so much from day to day, I realized the importance of being mindful of the connection to daily lifestyle habits.
AGP Analysis
I analyzed the AGP (weekly 24-hour glucose profile), which overlays daily blood glucose fluctuation patterns by time of day. Overall, from late night to early morning (around 00:00 to 06:00), the levels remained flat around 150 to 200 mg/dL.
However, a characteristic trend is observed where blood glucose peaks after 08:00 (presumably post-breakfast) and then drops sharply to around 100 mg/dL toward 14:00. After that, levels tend to rise above 200 mg/dL again from evening to nighttime (after 21:00). In particular, during the afternoon (around 12:00 to 16:00) and at night, the light blue band (percentile range) widens, indicating a large day-to-day variation. Managing the sharp midday fluctuations and preventing nighttime hyperglycemia will be key points moving forward.
What Went Well This Week
- On Sunday, the average blood glucose was maintained at 145 mg/dL, which was stable and close to the target.
