My Type 1 Diabetes Journey: Insights on Blood Sugar Control and Life's Transformations

Looking back at my experiences and bodily changes since being diagnosed with diabetes, I've realized that while there were difficult symptoms and shifts, there were also positive transformations stemming from reviewing my lifestyle. [Weight Changes and Physical Condition]

  • As shown in the graph, my weight dropped sharply by about 5kg to around 55kg in February, after my hospitalization, from approximately 61kg until December.
  • By continuing carbohydrate restriction after discharge, I've been able to maintain a healthy weight of 55kg to 56kg.

My blood sugar dipped in the evening, and I started experiencing mild hypoglycemia symptoms (a feeling of unease and shaky hands). Thanks to a timely boost with ramune candies, I was able to prevent a sharp drop.
