Looking back at this week's blood glucose management, blood glucose levels spent a lot of time overall staying higher than the target range, making it a week with a few remaining challenges. However, I view the fact that daily fluctuation patterns and the times when my blood glucose tends to move are clearly visualized as a big positive step toward future improvement.
A particularly positive aspect was that the risk of hypoglycemia (less than 70 mg/dL) was extremely low throughout the week, allowing me to spend the week safely. On the other hand, the postprandial rises due to the influence of meals and the prolonged high blood glucose state during the night were areas of concern. Next week, I hope to aim for more comfortable management by making minor adjustments to the content and timing of my meals.
Weekly Trend Analysis
Looking at the weekly trend report, this week's average blood glucose level was 215 mg/dL, and the TIR (Time in Range), which indicates the time spent within the target range (70–180 mg/dL), was 20.6%. There was a general tendency for levels to be higher than the target during many time periods. On the other hand, the CV (coefficient of variation), which indicates the variability of blood glucose levels, settled at a relatively low value of 22.5%, suggesting that sharp, rapid fluctuations themselves were kept in check.
Note that detailed comparison data with the GMI and the previous week could not be confirmed from the image this time. The minimum blood glucose level was 102 mg/dL, and being able to spend the week without worrying about hypoglycemia can be considered a positive change for this week. Shifting high blood glucose time periods gradually into the target range is a goal for the future.

On the other hand, the day with the highest average value was Wednesday (Aug 12) at 246 mg/dL (*though the data only goes up to just past noon). Monday and Tuesday also had averages in the low 200 mg/dL range, suggesting that factors such as daytime food choices, stress at work, or low activity levels might have kept blood glucose levels high. I want to organize my daily behavioral patterns while remaining mindful of the relationship between lifestyle habits and blood glucose levels.

In particular, during the night (from 21:00 to around 6:00 the next morning), the median remained at a high level of around 250 mg/dL, suggesting room for improvement in nighttime glucose stability. Looking at the shaded width (range of fluctuation) on the graph, the width is wider in the afternoon, which likely indicates that differences in daily meals and activity levels are causing variability during this time frame. Overall, while the risk of hypoglycemia is extremely low, addressing the risk of hyperglycemia seems crucial.
